Updating or reinstalling your TV's firmware can resolve many common issues.
To update your TV's firmware:
- Find your TV's product code. This is usually on a sticker on the back of your TV and typically starts with KALED or KAQLED.
- The serial number for your TV may be very similar to the model number. Make sure you note down the model number not the serial. An example is shown below:
- Model number: KAQLED85XQ98JSTA
- Serial: KAQLED85XQ98JSTA1234
- Search your model number in our help centre, and look for the article with your TV firmware.
- Follow the steps in the article.
